We will never forget that fated evening on Friday 13th 2020 when Ben Addison’s ‘And Action’ first Solo show in London opened and then closed the very same day & the world changed for ever. We love Ben Addison’s work so much we felt it deserved a proper viewing. So this time, do you feel lucky? Well, if so join us at Ben Oakley Gallery down in Greenwich 9 Turnpin Lane SE10 from 7pm -10pm for the opening drinks reception on Friday April 1st 2022.

Many of you may know the multi gifted Addison as song writer performer with the band Corduroy playing their signature Acid Jazz tunes around the globe for the last 25 years or the Boys Wonder before that. But in the background as well as treading the boards working in Fashion & the Design industry Addison has been hard at work perfecting his true love of painting. His influences like in music come from American Detective Films and TV and carry a feel good narrative of a bygone era. Each painting is deftly finished they have great clarity and movement and contain a powerful dynamic with impact.
