Forever influenced by the UK Anarchy Punk scene and the sound system culture of the 80’s and 90’s, Asboluv is a familiar face in Europe’s vibrant street art scene.
Part of the notorious GRAFIK WARFARE collective, Asboluv describes himself as a ‘born-again-hooligan’ painting walls, canvas, cardboard and the odd fridge door.
Using spray paint, stencils and a love for dark portraiture he is best known for his iconic ‘afro-girl’ images, rich in colour, they reflect the strength and beauty of his subjects.
Asboluv has painted alongside some of the best known street artists and graffiti artists at events in the UK and Europe including Banksy’s Cans Festival, Beautiful and the Caned, and more recently Mutate Britain.
His work has been published in several books and magazines including Street Art and The War Against Terror and London’s Anthology of Street Art.
