RAY RICHARDSON
‘London’s Topdog’
PREVIEW NIGHT
10th MAY - 3rd JUNE
Ben Oakley Gallery is pleased to welcome back London born painter Ray Richardson in his second exhibition with the gallery ‘ Londons Topdog ’.
On view for the first time will be a series of Lithographs produced exclusively by Master Printer Lee Turner from Hole Editions, Newcastle. Turner trained for years at the renowned Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque and has worked with, amongst others George Shaw and Turner Prize winner Richard Wright. Turner and Richardson have collaborated once again to produce ‘A Bakers Dozen', thirteen A6 gems to be offered at Pre Published Prices throughout this exhibition. Which are being presented as a set or individually. This is a great opportunity for the young or seasoned Richardson collector.
Accompanying the lithographs will be a collection of Richardsons finest oil paintings to date, which have been painted and hand selected especially for this show. There is always a consistent depth of quality and strong narrative to Richardsons work as he effortlessly continues to carry on the mantle and tradition of great British Painters.
